Dr. Phanthian Zuesongdam is an experienced lead strategist and transformation manager with profound process management and digital innovation competencies in the maritime and port industry, both at national and international level. Bringing forward an impressive palmares of professional achievements and awards, Phanthian will be our Keynote Speaker for the morning conference, and will discuss how supply chain resilience is the key to ports of the future. She will also be joining members of the IMPA General Council in the morning panel session on procurement excellence.

Steven Jones is the CEO of not-for-profit organisation Sustainable Shipping Initiative (SSI), entrusted with driving positive change, facilitation, and progress in sustainability.  He is a former seafarer who has worked across the maritime industry. Our Keynote Speaker for the afternoon conference, Steven will bring to the fore new dimensions to consider when talking about sustainability, and will also join our afternoon panel on challenges and opportunities around sustainability in the supply chain.

Jan Kohzer is a Sustainable Manager of the Global Engagement and Sustainability Department at Oldendorff Carriers, where he has been working for the dry bulk owner and operator since 2012. Jan has formerly worked in the Oldendorff Legal and Crewing Department where he led the cadet training program. Now taking care of Oldendorff’s sustainable and industry engagement activities, Jan will be presenting sustainability from a German ship-owner's perspective, and join us on the afternoon panel as well.

Mikael Karlsson is IMPA's Special Ambassador for Sustainability in Norway, as well as the Chair and Founder of the ambitious IMPA SAVE initiative that now has over 100 companies engaged to work towards a better, more sustainable future for our industry. He has extensive experience in the shipping industry and now holds the role of Head of Business Development at Northern Marine Group. Mikael will be presenting the sustainability impact on the supply chain and offering an update for IMPA SAVE, before moving on to being a part of the afternoon panel discussion alongside other members of the IMPA SAVE Council.
